Thirty five years of extensive experience in the transportation service. I investigated, analyzed or reconstructed over 10,000 accidents and numerous fatalities. I have many years of direct involvement investigating accident crashes related to delivery trucks, tractor trailers and large cargo vans. Additionally, I investigated warehouse accidents involving serious injuries related to equipment and machinery failure. I audited and assessed organization adherence to DOT guidelines, OSHA regulations and Worker’s Comp laws. I identified deficiencies and at-risk hazards in an attempt to reduce accidents and minimize enterprise exposure. Assigned as lead safety consultant in the instructional design of the UPS Integrad Training Center. I provided subject matter expertise to redesign the Package Driver Safety Training 40 hour curriculum. Selected as the primary subject matter expert to update the UPS Record of Safety Ride. Acknowledged as the principal author of the UPS Road Code safe driving program for teens. I was responsible for the implementation and oversight of the FMCSA CSA program and provided Corporate Legal with CSA content knowledge and responded to interrogatories related CSA measurements. I provided guidance and interpretation of FMCSA CSA BASIC scoring, individual BASIC thresholds, training and Data Q reduction strategies.
